🏡❤️ **JUST SOLD...and this one is different.** ❤️🏡
Today I closed the **fourth and final investment property** for a client...and here's the part that makes this story unique:
**We've never met.**
She lives in California, and over the past two years I've helped her sell four investment properties here in Georgia. Every conversation happened over the phone. Every document was signed electronically. Every closing was remote.
Yet somehow, through countless phone calls, negotiations, inspections, challenges, and celebrations, I got to know someone I genuinely admire.
She spent her career in the corporate world and made some incredibly wise financial decisions, one of them being investing in real estate. It has been amazing to watch those investments come full circle, and even more rewarding to hear the stories behind them. She is one of the most intelligent, thoughtful, and fascinating people I've had the privilege of working with.
When I called her to say, "We're officially closed," there was a long pause.
Then one of us said, "Well...this is going to be strange."
And it really is.
For the last two years, it seemed like there was always another property to prepare, another strategy to discuss, another closing around the corner. Our conversations became part of our routine. It's funny how someone you've never even met in person can become someone you genuinely look forward to talking to.
Real estate has given me so much more than a career. It has introduced me to people whose paths I never would have crossed otherwise—people who inspire me, teach me, and remind me that meaningful relationships aren't defined by geography.
So while this marks the end of selling these four properties, I don't think it's the end of our conversations and I have a feeling we'll still be checking in on each other for years to come.
