Member lunches returned from summer break earlier this month, and it was great to see our members again!
Our RRF ambassador, Amy Medley - Realtor, shared about the REALTORS® Relief Foundation. RRF was founded 25 years ago in the wake of 9/11, and because NAR covers 100% of its administrative costs, every dollar donated goes straight to disaster victims. Since then, RRF has provided more than $53 million in housing assistance to more than 50,000 families!
Our guest speaker was Allison Parsons with the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of The Mid-Ohio Valley, Inc.. CCCS has provided financial counseling, education, and advocacy to the Mid-Ohio Valley for over 50 years. This nonprofit offers credit and housing counseling, financial education, debt management programs, and representative payee services, and it is a HUD-approved housing counselor offering free guidance on topics like foreclosure prevention, pre-purchase, rental, and credit.
