Born and raised in Marietta, I feel so blessed to have grown up in such a beautiful area richly steeped in history and southern traditions. After

a brief stent out of state due to job opportunities, my husband and I made our way back to Marietta where we started our family. By the way, I have to say, " I have the best two kids in the whole wide world", but I digress. Returning home provided a wonderful network of support from friends and family. Even more important was the opportunity to start building life long memories for my kids. You see, my fondest memories growing up and as a wife and mother, have always centered on the home. Not the physical structure(house), but the institution. Whether it be the sweet smell of a newborn, the sounds of little feet scurrying down the stairs on Christmas morning or the roars following a touchdown on Saturday afternoon, HOME is where family and friends gather to make memories.
