She has 18 years of experience and is here to help you and yours buy or sell Residential and Commercial Real Estate, now or in the future. Like a mama bear, she and her team are very protective of their clients’ interests. Melissa and associates are skilled at avoiding the real estate "bear traps" that can catch buyers and sellers unaware. Her team provides real estate services tailored to their sellers and buyers. Melissa is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR). Melissa served on the ALC (Agent Leadership Council) and on the University of North Georgia’s Corps Advisory Council. She is currently serving on the Cobb Veterans Memorial Foundation Board of Directors and the CCRWC Board of Directors. Her team is fully staffed to provide superior customer service, including an Office Manager, a Closing Coordinator, a Listing Coordinator, and a Marketing Coordinator. Melissa has a Residential Resale Division, Luxury Home Division, and a Commercial Division. Melissa was born in Wilson, NC and has called GA home for 22 years. She graduated and earned her Army commission from North Georgia Military College (now UNG) in 1992. Melissa's resume includes her service as a Commissioned Officer in the Air Defense Corps. She served in the Persian Gulf during several deployments. After leaving the service, Melissa worked at the Raytheon Corporation as a Quality Assurance Engineer. In her free time, Melissa enjoys volunteering with local Military units/families, writing, shooting, singing karaoke, camping, reading, and spending time with her husband, John, and sons, Jack and Seth.
