Week Seven of my 10 week series on my experience with Brilliant Corners. I have now engaged the Mayor's office and attempting to engage the government funding agencies to share my journey and ask them how Brilliant Corners is evaluated and quite frankly why are they spending our tax dollars on incompetence. I will give them a chance to respond so stay tuned.

Week Six in the Brilliant Corners 10-week Series: This is the update from the housing coordinator on the relocation status of my tenant and their client. “I was informed that the potential unit didn’t go through. Not sure the reason why but we’re right back at square 1, looking for potential units for my client. I’ll be sure to update you once a unit is found and secured.” I am informed Brilliant Corners that I am pursuing informing the government agencies that provide funding to them and I will be sharing names in my post of what is going on if I don’t hear from someone and if better support is not given.

Week Five in the Brilliant Corners 10-week Series: Over two weeks has gone by and no update on the new unit Brilliant Corners identified for their client. I still haven’t heard back from the supervisor. I post this message on the Brilliant Corners website as well as other websites and no updates. I am committed to share this information because Brilliant Corners gets government subsidies for the lack of service they provide. My next step is to take my factual concerns to network media and share my story. If I get on TV I will let you know. The saga continues.

Week Four in the Brilliant Corners 10 week Series: My suspicions may be true. Brilliant Corners shared they have located a new unit for our client, but another week has passed and no update. I believe Brilliant Corners reached out attempting to stop my series on the level of service that I and my tenant receive from Brilliant Corners. I am here to say nothing has changed but the rain in LA. I will continue my series and possibly extend it if nothing changes in the next week.

This post is Week Three of a 10-week series on my recent experience with Brilliant Corners. Brilliant Corners is an organization claiming to provide innovative housing to people who need it. In other words, they claim to provide housing to people who are homeless or have challenges. I modestly will say, I run a successful boutique full service real estate company with a strong emphasis in property management and real estate acquisition.
A huge part of my business is supporting families by giving them housing and supporting their journey of being a productive citizen.
Unfortunately, Brilliant Corners has been very inconsistent with their support to my clients. Factually and to the point they are terrible. I will only share what I can back up from emails, voicemails, text messages and meetings.
Week Three in the series: Yesterday I received the following email from Brilliant Corners. “A unit has been located for my client and I’ll update as we get closer to moving her out of the unit.” Is this information complete. Are they giving a 30-day notice or are they attempting to stop my series on Brilliant Corners and the service level that I receive. I will continue my series until there is information that is verifiable and complete from Brilliant Corners. By the way, I requested information directly from the supervisor. If you replied to my request, then he replied. Crickets.

Week Two in the series: I have a Brilliant Corners tenant that applied for the covid rent relief. She attempted to scam the process by giving false information on the rent application on what she pays and then attempting to have the approved rent relief come to her vs the landlord. I was fortunate enough to catch the scam and stop it. When I informed Brilliant Corners of what their client/tenant did, they did not want to get involved. Their client clearly was defrauding the system and Brilliant Corners clearly did not want to stop them.
