Regional Manager with Estate Properties. With a real estate career spanning over four decades, Terry Ballentine has been a full-time real estate professional since 1976. After earning his Real Estate Broker’s license in 1979, Terry took on a two-year management role in the Mar Vista branch of a major Westside brokerage. In 1981, he joined the newly opened Marina del Rey office of the Jon Douglas C
ompany, later becoming Assistant Manager in 1990. Following the company’s acquisition by Coldwell Banker in 1998, Terry continued to build his leadership and client-focused approach. Today, Terry serves as Regional Manager and Sales Associate at Estate Properties, which he joined in 2010. He is actively involved in the industry as a Director and member of the Professional Standards Committee of the Greater Los Angeles Area Board of Realtors and also serves on the board of The MLS/CLAW Multiple Listing Service. Terry specializes in residential and income-producing properties across Venice, Marina del Rey, and West Los Angeles, with sales experience extending from Malibu to the South Bay. His clients rely on his knowledge, integrity, and results-driven strategies—many of whom are repeat clients and referrals, a testament to their trust and satisfaction. A Venice native, Terry is a graduate of Santa Monica College and has completed real estate education programs approved by the California Department of Real Estate. He also holds designations as an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and E-Pro digital marketing specialist. Outside of real estate, Terry is an active and adventurous spirit. He enjoys water and snow skiing, scuba diving, fishing, hiking, and softball—managing a co-ed Realtors softball league during the summer and playing year-round in Culver City. He lives in Venice with his wife, and they’re often spotted biking around town or walking their dog. Proud father of three and grandfather of seven, Terry is a family man at heart.
