I’m not gonna lie, Frank might’ve been the smallest kid out there tonight and I’m pretty sure the youngest. 😂 He barely made the kindergarten cutoff. His birthday is literally TWO DAYS before the deadline.

But Frank had his first debut with the “big kids” tonight and had himself an evening. TWO pick 6’s! 🏈

It’s a tough job being both a younger brother and an older brother to two sisters. One minute he’s getting beat up playing knee football with the big boys, and the next he’s getting bossed around by the girls. 😂 He really can’t win around here.

So I’m glad Frank finally got a moment to have a little shine of his own and show off everything he’s been learning on the gridiron at home in the School of Hard Knocks. 😂

My story was written long before I ever got here. So this season, I’m not rushing what’s already being handled.

I don’t care who’s doing better than me. I’m not in competition with anyone else. The only rival I have is who I was last year, and that’s exactly where growth is supposed to happen.

So I’m learning to be patient. Trusting God’s timing instead of my own. Staying diligent about growing, reflecting, and being present with the ones who matter most, even if it’s just making a snack at the counter with my girls.

It’s me versus me.

My assistant today comes with her own union rules (breaks every 5 minutes, snack negotiable, Mickey mandatory). 10/10 would hire again 🏡🩷

She doesn’t know it yet, but she’s already learning the lesson I want her to carry forever: glass ceilings were meant to be broken.

Mom. Wife. REALTOR®. Those are titles I wear proudly, but they don’t come before who I am, and they won’t come before who she becomes. Today she just wanted to help with the sign. One day I hope she remembers that her mama showed her what it looks like to build something of her own.

Some days I’m running carpool line, then drafting a counter offer before I even get out of the car.

Don’t get me wrong, raising five kids and running multiple businesses costs money. But time freedom is the kind of currency I’m chasing every single day.

This week, “rich” looked like this.

Spending every day home with my kids and still running my business. Making fresh salsa verde and carnitas for dinner because I had the time. Making smoothies for the sixth time and finally getting it right (turns out you need yogurt for texture, consistency, and taste. The basement crew can be official taste testers at the next sleepover). Showing up to dad’s night practice with all the kids in tow. Watching my kids genuinely enjoy being a big family, together, on a random weeknight. Making it to every event. Morning, noon, and night.

Nobody talks about this kind of rich. The kind you can’t put in a bank account.

I’m grateful. And I’m rich. 🤍
