The Harding Centre is a proud participant of Ohio Open Doors 2026—the statewide celebration where historic buildings across Ohio open their doors to the public, September 10–20.

We're opening ours with Ryan S. Walters, author of The Jazz Age President: Defending Warren G. Harding.

Historians almost always rank Warren G. Harding dead last. Ryan says they're wrong, and he's bringing the evidence to Marion.

Thursday, September 17, Harding Centre, Marion, Ohio.

Open house 2–6 PM, author talk at 4 PM, meet-and-greet and book signing to follow. Free admission.

Giveaway: comment that you're coming to enter for a signed copy, drawn at random, 18 winners in total.

🥃✨ Come out to Fable Bar & Co. and try our Nickey’s Downtown!

Strong, spiced, smoky, and subtly sweet, this candied pecan Old Fashioned is packed with cozy and bold flavors. 🍂 Featuring our house-made candied pecan simple, Ohio-local bourbon, and perfectly paired spiced bitters, this cocktail is then smoked with hickory chips and topped with a candied pecan. 🌰

And we love the Nickey’s Downtown for more than just a cocktail but also as a subtle nod to several family favorites and a little piece of the inspiration behind our family business. ❤️✨

Come grab a seat and a drink, and enjoy one with us. Cheers! 🐇✨
