The cross looked like a failure on Friday. Not a setback. Not a delay. Complete, total, undeniable failure. But don’t judge your story by a Friday.

This is what a Friday season does to you. It doesn’t make you just hurt. It makes you doubt every time you thought you heard God speaking to you.

Your Friday might be the unanswered prayer you’ve stopped praying because you’re too embarrassed to admit you still want it after multiple failures to receive it. It might be the door that closed, the dream that collapsed, or the loss that broke something inside of you. Friday is supposed to hurt though. That is not evidence God is absent.

I don’t know how long you’ve been in your Friday or how many times you’ve asked God why he hasn’t moved on your behalf. But the God who sat in a sealed tomb for 3 days has not forgotten your name. Sunday IS COMING. Don’t judge your story by Fridays appearance.

Closing day for my sellers! 🎉🏡🥳

This one definitely tested everyone’s patience with a few delays outside of our control (contingency offers will do that 😅), but my sellers remained patient and trusted the process. One of those delays ended up opening the door to their next home—one that fit their needs even better than what they were originally set on.

A good reminder that delays can be part of God’s plan. He sees the behind the scenes and knows when to slow us down by causing delays before we jump on a wrong decision. His timing, not ours.

So happy for my sellers and excited to welcome some out-of-towners to the Ville—hope they love it as much as my sellers did. 🏡

Top 3 things I have clients do before listing photos!

If your home feels cluttered in person… it looks 10x cluttered in photos.

✔️ Clear surfaces-Photos can exxagerate clutter. You’re not just decluttering, you’re creating visual breathing room so buyers see space, not stuff.

✔️ Remove excess furniture-Clutter isn’t just objects, it’s density. In photos, less objects= bigger rooms

✔️ Depersonalize-Buyers need to mentally move in, not feel like they are touring someone elses space.

Space + light = stronger offers.

Last week at church, our pastors wife shared how she had once been praying for God to fill the seats… and God gently corrected her heart posture to pray that He would fill the PEOPLE, and in His timing, He would fill the seats.

That stuck with me in my work.

I find myself asking God to fill my schedule with homes to sell, but right now, I believe He’s asking me to focus on filling my clients. To serve them well. To work diligently for each one. To be a seed planter in this season.

Tonight I opened my Bible to Ecclesiastes — “A Time for Everything.” And I was reminded that my passion isn’t to compete or be the best out there. My heart is to serve God’s people, and trust that He will provide the rest.

My goal isn’t to be the best Realtor in the world, just the best Realtor for the clients God has placed in my path.

Today I spent hours working through a transaction that felt overwhelming at times. But tonight, I was welcomed into their home, delivered paperwork, shared in small conversations, and it brought me so much joy and a reminder from God that I am exactly in the season he wants me to be in.

I get to sit down tonight and pray over my clients, the other agents clients, the other agents, the homes involved, and THAT is my ministry and the Maddy Method.

I hope this encourages someone else in their season of planting, too. 🤍

This season is a reminder that every good gift comes from above.

Grateful for the doors God opened this year, the families He has placed in my path, and the homes that became places of prayer, rest, and new beginnings.
