#2 on my Fall : California Cold Co. in Manalapan, NJ! ☕️

If you live or work in Morganville, Englishtown, or Manalapan, chances are you either love or know someone who loves

I discovered this local gem with my friends during a summer in college two years ago, and it’s one of those rare artisanal coffee places that never fails to amaze you with their blends and flavors.

I’ve always had a soft spot for craft coffee shops (and California), but trust me when I say that nobody else is doing it better this Fall season than California Cold Co here in Monmouth County (IMO)

I always opt for one of their signature crafts, the Alcatraz, which is a delicious and smooth blend of Espresso, House Made Vanilla, and Oatmilk! As a latte, it’s perfectly paired with their coffee cube iced for long lasting taste! If you wanna go a step further in the Fall spirit, definitely check out their Maple Brown Sugar Espresso.

Their standard and seasonal menus feature dozens of unique creations like their Pebble Beach (with Fruity Pebbles infused milk) and Applejacks Matcha that you gotta check out. This isn’t even counting their food menu, which I’ll leave for you to explore.

They also have ample space and comfy couches for lounging and working, and some cool souvenirs like this soda/coffee glass I got for everyday drinking.

Fall mornings start with a solid cup of coffee, and I can’t recommend this place enough 🧋

#1 on my Fall : La Rosa Chicken & Grill in Freehold, NJ!

I got a few DM’s asking me to review and check out La Rosa, and it was an extremely easy decision because I’ve been coming here for years for my post workout meals!

is one of those restaurants that offers a great variety of balanced and nutritious meal options, but is especially enjoyable because their menu arguably has a seasonal flair as well.

With Thanksgiving a little over a month away and the leaves announcing that we’re in the full swing of Fall, nothing hits more than wholesome, made-from-scratch comfort food after a day of pumpkin picking and attending Fall fests!

Because it was a strength training day, I decided to go with the Spicy Grilled Chicken Platter Como with their sides of seasoned rice and garlic broccoli, and it absolutely hit the spot! Their chicken is juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned.

However, if you’re looking to get something heartier, La Rosa’s got you covered! Their signature rotisserie chicken, ribs, chicken tenders, and numerous wraps and sandwich options are out of this world, and their Mac and Cheese (not pictured here) is the definition of cozy — rich, cheesy, and reminds you why comfort food will always have a seat at the table.

With locations all across Jersey (Manalapan, Freehold, Tinton Falls, Hazlet, etc), I’d highly recommend checking La Rosa out for your next meal!
