e been a full-time resident for the past five years. I’ve been coming to Marquette my entire life, and I know the area, the neighborhoods, and the lifestyle extremely well. I’ve already completed several transactions here including a notable million-dollar sale and I’m proud to bring my seasoned expertise to buyers and sellers throughout the U.P. One of my clients once described me: “When it’s 4th down on the 30-yard line with a minute and thirty seconds left in the game, Tom is going to be the guy that gets the ball in the end zone so we can run out the clock and finish the season with a victory.” I took it as a compliment because that is what I like to do score for my clients at all costs. I had the great fortune to work with some of the best real estate professionals in the business, including the legendary Rose Koval. I also spent time in Las Vegas working at the biggest Keller Williams office in the city and learning from top professionals there. Truly, I have been interested in real estate my entire life. I started by flipping and developing properties with my father in Metro Detroit. Every home I lived in growing up, my dad was fixing up and selling, and it always provided income for the family. Now, we are building duplexes in downtown Marquette near NMU. A little about me: I’m 35 years old. Before I was a REALTOR®, I worked at a marketing company (or, as I like to joke, I was a failed football player). I am 6 foot 6, 250 pounds, and played one year of college football at UNLV. I graduated from Central Michigan University in 2014 with a degree in communications. I worked at a large marketing company analyzing marketing data for three years and then realized I wanted to do real estate because I have always loved homes, construction, and I felt I could bring something valuable to the business especially through digital marketing. I have also always enjoyed working with people. I made my first deal in 2019 and my first million-dollar sale in 2021. That property helped put me on the map in luxury real estate. I have sold every type of residential and commercial real estate. I have worked with investors. I have worked vacation homes. Waterfront properties on Lake Michigamme are my favorite. I’ve sold multi-family properties, vacant land, restaurants, liquor stores, and car washes. I have also sold commercial properties related to cannabis, working with one of the largest cannabis companies in Michigan. I take a lot of pride in marketing all my listings to their utmost potential. Many agents forgo spending any real marketing dollars, and this can be a direct reason why properties don’t sell. All my properties include the most up-to-date marketing techniques and technology, including 3D Matterport Virtual Tours. My mission in real estate is to provide great housing guidance, consultation, negotiation, and education for buyers and sellers throughout the entire process. I love helping my clients save money or put the most money in their pocket. I analyze market data closely, and I also provide extra services that many other REALTORS® won’t. I love working with veterans and members of the armed forces. My first deal ever came from an Air Force veteran, where we beat out three other offers using a VA loan so yes, I can get VA loans accepted. Many people might think my work is just about getting the sale to get the sale at all costs. However, I love my clients and always want to put the absolute most money in their pockets. Therefore, my goal is for my clients to have a great experience during their real estate transaction and walk away with as much money as possible in their pocket. In other words: I help my clients win, protect their investments, and achieve outstanding results whether in Marquette, the Upper Peninsula, or anywhere in Michigan.
