Hey Neighbors! 👋🏼
We’re using the long weekend to get some sealer on the new sidewalks before winter comes. If you see the sidewalks blocked Sunday & Monday - 🙏🏼 please walk around them to allow the sealer to completely dry. If you could avoid them Saturday as well, that would be amazing!

We promise they’ll be back open for the kiddos Tuesday morning! 🚌

Sadly a lot of the original features of the Crowe house had been ripped out or ruined by the time we got her, BUT there are a few things buried that we’ve tried to save.
The beautiful hand hewned wood upstairs, some other decorative trim I’m going to clean up and turn into a feature wall downstairs.
The crown jewel though, is this piece. If there’s one thing you should know about us, if there’s a transom window - we’re going to bring it back to life.
Follow along while we strip her down to her original glory, replace the glass and make her the feature she deserves to be.

The first thing we did when we bought the Crowe house was tear open the wall to see if the steps we thought were buried, were actually there (spoiler, they were). So it’s kind of ironic, that the last thing we completed on this unit, was the steps (technically hand rails, but still). A little touch up and a final clean but We. Are. Done. 🙌🏼

🎆 Happy 4th, all!
We’re so excited to share this one with you!
It’s no secret that this property needed some love but also from a functionality perspective - we weren’t crazy about the setup. The upstairs tenant previously had to enter their apartment from what we affectionately coined, “the death stairs” (on the front right of the original pictures). They made us nervous and honestly the thought of someone having to climb them with groceries in the winter seemed silly. The original inside stairs were still there (albeit buried) and made it optimal to use this front entrance. However, there’s already a mudroom at the base of the steps, (inside the front door) so we really didn’t need a second one, and the enclosure on the porch left a lot to be desired - so we tore it out 🤷🏻‍♀️ and gave them a porch they’ll be happy to come home to. Not to mention, all new concrete sidewalks that are safe for not only the folks that will live here, but all those in the community that walk them every day.

Talk about a transformation! 🤩
Appliances are coming Friday, and we could not be prouder of this kitchen. We did a complete redesign to maximize space and create a more open feel.
🕵🏻‍♀️ Hidden in the walls was this gorgeous barn wood that we saved to create a separation between the refrigerator and the living space.
We’re getting close and hope to have this unit finished up over the summer! ☀️
