Hi, I'm Alushia 👋

I'm the owner and lead designer behind Staging 2 Sell It.

Staging 2 Sell It was founded by my mom, Debra Hippler, in 2015. I joined the business in 2016, and together we spent nearly a decade growing it into the company it is today.

In 2025, I proudly purchased the business when my mom retired, continuing the work and values that have been at the heart of Staging 2 Sell It since the beginning.

I've always believed that every project, big or small, deserves to be beautiful and functional. That philosophy guides every home we stage and every design project we take on.

With an Interior Design degree, more than 10 years of industry experience, and an 8,000 square foot warehouse of carefully curated inventory, I've had the privilege of helping builders, agents, developers, and homeowners throughout Iowa create spaces that stand out.

But this business is about more than furniture and décor.

It's about helping builders showcase their craftsmanship.

🇺🇸 Today we remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a time to pause, reflect, and express gratitude for the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our freedom.

Virtual staging may fill an empty room, but it doesn't solve presentation issues.

Pending in 3 days.

This home already had incredible architecture and custom details, but the goal with staging was making sure buyers emotionally connected to the spaces the second they walked in.

We leaned into the warmth of the wood tones, layered soft textures throughout the home, and used rich earthy accents to create contrast against the lighter finishes. Every furniture layout was intentionally designed to highlight the scale of the rooms while still making the home feel comfortable, functional, and lived in.

One of our favorite details? The mix of bold black accents, warm woods, and soft neutrals throughout the home gave the entire space a high end, cohesive feel without feeling overly formal.

And clearly…buyers felt it too.

Because great marketing doesn’t just show a house. It helps people imagine living there.
