Monthly…
The SCITUATE FOOD PANTRY receives a Greater Boston Food Bank delivery on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month.
On the 1st Friday of the month PANTRY Volunteer, Jack Radley, drives to Weymouth where the Greater Boston Food Bank has set up a supply warehouse in conjunction with the Weymouth Food Pantry. The Scituate Food Pantry order is loaded on a Weymouth Food Pantry truck and Jack delivers the products to the Scituate Pantry and then returns the truck to Weymouth.
For the past 3 YEARS, on the 3rd Friday of the month, the PANTRY, free of charge, has the use of a truck from MOLISSE REALTY GROUP in Marshfield. Jack Radley Picks up the truck and drives it to the GREATER BOSTON FOOD BANK in Boston! BRIAN MOLISSE offers the use of their truck to “Community Groups and Charitable Organizations”. Because of the extraordinary generosity of BRIAN MOLISSE of MOLISSE REALTY GROUP it no longer takes 2 very large personal vehicles to transport the 3,000 lb. order from Boston to Scituate.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, AND THANK YOU, again, BRIAN MOLISSE for being such a valuable member of the SCITUATE FOOD PANTRY’S Village! You continue to provide such a generous gift to the Pantry!!! Your thoughtfulness and kindness is appreciated more than words can express.
The Pantry volunteers in the photo are Frank Kilduff and Dick Johnson, both long time dedicated Pantry volunteers. Jack Radley, the driver, always makes it a point to avoid any photo op!
