WARNING - SCAMMERS are going around knocking on doors claiming they are with PG&E (they are NOT with PG&E) and aggressively demanding to see your PG&E bill, demanding personal information and trying to get you to sign something. They are extremely rude and pushy and fast talkers. They are with "Vista Energy", which is an energy company but they what they are doing is ILLEGAL (it's called "slamming"). They are targeting the most vulnerable, including the elderly, non-English speakers, and low-income families. Once people give them their personal information or they see their bill, they are forging signatures and signing them up for their very expensive service!

Please pass this along to make everyone aware! Do NOT fall for these scammers, do not even open your door to them, definitely do NOT give them your PG&E bill or any personal information and do not sign ANYTHING.

PG&E will ALWAYS contact customers by phone first to let them know if they need to come by for any reason and they will NOT ask for personal information because they already have it.

Stay safe from these scammers everyone!!

If you feel pressured to switch to a different energy supplier, or you think it's a scam, call the company they claim to represent first to verify or call customer service at PG&E.
