Mental Health Awareness Month 2026: More Good Days, Together
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness, fighting stigma, and promoting mental well-being for all. This year, Mental Health America (MHA) invites us to reflect on what a "good day" looks like, both for ourselves and for our communities, with the theme: "More Good Days, Together."
Mental health is an integral part of our overall health. It influences how we think, feel, and interact with the world around us. It's okay not to be okay, and it's crucial to remember that support is available. This month, let's:
•
Prioritize self-care: Take time for activities that nourish your mind and body.
•
Connect with others: Share your experiences and listen to those around you. Community and connection are vital for mental well-being.
•
Seek help when needed: Reaching out to a mental health professional is a sign of strength, not weakness.
•
Educate ourselves and others: Learn more about mental health conditions and how to support those who are struggling.
Together, we can create a world where everyone has the opportunity to experience more good days. Let's foster environments of empathy, understanding, and support.
