You've heard me tell the stories about "when clients become friends."

Well, these guys are the poster children for that story. I really didn't know them before we started talking real estate, and now they have a shrine built for me in their new home...literally.

Okay, maybe not literally...let me explain.

We got together for a long-overdue lunch recently, and they casually mentioned that they are probably my only "clients" who have displayed a tribute to me as part of the design of their new home.

I had NO idea what they might even be talking about. And, honestly, it was initially a little concerning. What would a tribute to me even look like?

Well, it turns out that it looks great. (Of course it does, Chrissy is an amazing designer).

And, it turns out that it was a spot-on, fully appreciated honor that I recognized immediately the moment I saw it.

Real talk - I don't know how I feel about my tribute being in the bathroom.

But I do know that it's an amazing feeling to be fully seen and understood by people who care about you and know you well enough to have zero doubt that you'll be thrilled with a Breakfast at Tiffany's homage in your honor.

I can think of no better choice!

You may have already heard me tell part of this story, and now I'm glad to be back to supply the update.

Short version: a pizza place right around the corner from my house closed down like RIGHT after I moved in early 2022. It has made me a little sad every time I drove past that empty building ever since, because I was excited to have a local, neighborhood pizza spot.

So, I was ecstatic when I found out that The Slice & Tap was going to be reopening in the space.

And now I'm ecstatic that there's pizza right around the corner again.

I tried (and failed) to eat two slices...they are huge!

VERY authentic New York-style pizza. I grabbed the lunch deal, which is a massive bang for the buck. I went basic with pepperoni just to see if they check the boxes. They do. My buddy got one of their specialty slices and one he designed. All those premium toppings hit the mark, too.

The owner, Cory, has been active in the community for years. His family builds houses around here, and he's been involved with a couple of different ventures along the way. And now, he's making my favorite food. Really glad that he's landed in this endeavor and that he planted it right beside my house!

Do not push the button!

I really am looking out for you here, I promise. Before you click “Request a tour,” let me tell you what really happens when you click that little blue button...

That one click then sends your information out to not just one, but a TON of Realtors in the area all at once. Before you know it, your phone will be lighting up with calls and texts from people you have never met.

Something else to think about...you have no idea what type of agent is on the other end of the phone. Some might be amazing. Some might have just gotten their license last week. You just don’t know.

Wouldn’t you rather call someone directly that you know you can trust? That you know is knowledgeable and experienced? So do not push the button! Instead, give me a call and we’ll get you taken care of without your phone going crazy with a million unknown numbers. 😉
