Ch. 1 Location, Location, Location, means nothing if your neighbor doesn’t clean up his yard!
We have heard the mantra that all that matters in real estate is location, location location, and while this still remains true to some extent unfortunately it’s the impression that the area or neighborhood leaves on the homebuyer that determines its desirability. While we remain in a constantly low inventory market in the Knoxville area. Home values are greatly limited because of the aesthetic appearance that the neighborhood presents. Therefore, one excellent approach is to always leave your home and yard well-kept because the impression it leaves on those passing by will determine its value and its desirability when that passerby decides to buy a home. Refrain from leaving immobile vehicles onsite, pressure wash and maintain your exterior on a regular basis, and keep your lawn up. These small things can have a great impact on your home value when it is time to sell.
