COVID-19 -
Wayson Home Inspections is open and continuing to provide quality home inspections to Kankakee County. We understand our local Realtors are jumping through hoops right now to provide essential services to their buyers and sellers.
We have implemented a few company policies during this time to help make this process as convenient and safe as possible for everyone.
While being present for your home inspection is still permitted, we request if anyone is sick they please stay home.
For those who choose not to attend, we will call you and review the report to make sure any questions you may have are answered.
If you do decide to attend, we request that the social distancing recommendation of 6 ft is followed at all times, and please refrain from any unnecessary touching of items while inside the home.
Our inspector will continue to sanitizes all equipment in-between inspections and wear protective gear for everyone's safety.

Old homes are the best! Check out this old piston pump we found in one of this mornings inspections. IT WORKS! Connected to an old cistern and probably used by the to water plants outside.

Sandbags available !

Due to the recent flash flooding and the increased river levels, we are offering sand bags on a first-come, first-serve basis to anyone that is willing to load them and retrieve them on their own. They will be located (after noon today, 5/1) on the south side of the Jerome Combs Detention Center (3000 South Justice Way, Kankakee, IL).
