Real life realtor post:
Showed approximately 15 houses to a couple.
Found a house over an hour away from my office. Finally made an offer and it was countered 3 times. Scheduled inspections. Negotiated repairs. Went to house with clients to look at flooring samples in the house to try to match and spent an hour there with them. Went to the final walkthrough that let’s just say did not go well. Sat at a closing table for 4 hours waiting for responses from the other agent. Left closing table and went to the house again. Personally climbed through the crawl space and sadly discovered a leak that was still in fact an issue. Terminated contract.
Never got paid for the deal or any of my invested time.
Now we start all over.
It’s not always rainbows and puppies folks!
None of this is to place any fault on my clients! At all! But this is the other side of real estate.

Your agent matters! Make sure you find one who puts your best interest above ANYTHING else. 😉🏠

I’ve said this before- waiting for something to change to be more in your favor doesn’t usually work out in real estate. Typically, the time is now. ☺️

A question I get asked a lot is “how is the real estate market?” And while there is no real answer to that question, the best one I have for right now, is “healthy”. It doesn’t particularly favor buyers or sellers dramatically.

What matters most is how you can achieve YOUR goals in the current but ever changing market. 😉
