Coulter Realty and Auction is one of Blount County's oldest and most steady real estate companies. Since 1975, when Coulter Realty was established, many other Realtors have come and gone. There are only a handful of professionals in the Maryville area that have this kind of longevity. Mack Coulter graduated in 1977 with a degree in Real Estate and Urban Development. He is one of only a few profess

ionals in the area with a four year degree in Real Estate from the University of Tennessee. In 1989 Mack added to the services offered by Coulter Realty by becoming an auctioneer. This required a two year apprenticeship and certification from the Nashville Auction School in order to become licensed by the State of Tennessee. With these new skills came many new possibilities and the new company name of Coulter Realty and Auction Company. from the Certified Auctioneers Institute after a three year course of study at the University of Indiana. He has also earned the Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate, A.A.R.E., designation from the Auction Marketing Institute of the National Association of Auctioneers. Mack takes various training courses regularly in order to keep up to date on changing laws and the changing market. The company has remained small by choice in order to offer more personal service.
