In this economy? We’re doing 90s kid summer. ☀️

Honestly, it sounds a lot like the best parts of home.

Popsicles on the porch.
A sprinkler in the yard.
Catching lightning bugs.
Neighbors waving as they drive by.
Kids riding bikes until the streetlights come on.

The truth is, some of the best summer memories don’t come with a big price tag—they come with a place to make them.

🍓🫐 How much fruit does your family go through during the summer? 🍍☀️

I honestly can’t even imagine how many pounds of fruit we go through in our house, but I’m happy that we do! Fresh fruit is one of our favorite summer snacks.

Here’s a little summer tip: store your fruits and vegetables in glass canning jars in the refrigerator. They tend to stay fresher and last longer!

Not that longevity is much of a concern around here. 😂

The blueberries in this photo came straight from a blueberry bush in our yard, and the blackberries came from a blackberry bush at my parents’ home. A special thank you to Mason for spending time picking them all! ❤️
