I had never experienced PPD until I had Noah, and I felt so guilty about it. It felt like I was on a roller coaster of emotions and thoughts constantly. Trying to focus on my newborn, while worrying if I was giving enough time and attention to my other kids, plus trying to find any time to spend with my husband was hard. The constant sadness, fear and anxiety that I had about whether I was giving enough of myself to the ones that needed me most was overwhelming. I realized I was trying to keep it all together for everyone else while neglecting my own well-being & self-care.⁣

🏡 Work was my outlet - it felt like therapy for me (weird, right??). Real estate gave me balance and connection with the outside world and every time I had the opportunity to work and connect with others, I took it!
