Attention all homeowners! If you're looking to sell your home, you don't have to spend a fortune on updates to make it appealing to potential buyers. Focus on cleanliness instead!

As a REALTOR, I can tell you that clean beats updated every time, especially if the updates are not done perfectly. Hiring a reputable, deep cleaning company is ideal, but if that's not an option, here are some tasks to add to your cleaning checklist.....

* Dust ceiling fans
* Magic eraser door frames
* Scrub baseboards
* De-grease kitchen cabinets
* Brighten grout
* Shampoo carpets

And remember, choose mild-scented cleaners to avoid giving the impression that you're trying to cover up unpleasant scents. 😜
