✨Sold ✨ Congratulations to our Seller!!! After a long wait of probate and some bumps along the way we got her to the closing table. Couldn’t be more happy for our client and helping with “closing” of this chapter in her life. Homes on Long Island are still increasing in value, (about 2–3% higher than last year).

At the same time, inventory remains extremely tight, with only about 4,500 homes on the market across Long Island, keeping competition strong.

Mortgage rates are currently around the 6% range, which has brought some buyers back into the market after the high-rate spikes of the past few years.

What does that mean for buyers?
