Things I don’t judge my clients for as a Realtor…
Most people think they’re going to be judged when they talk to a real estate agent.

Not ready yet. Don’t have everything figured out. House isn’t perfect.

That’s normal.

The most important thing to me is that my clients feel confident in their own timeline and in their decision-making process. 

Every situation is different, and there’s usually more flexibility than people realize. A big part of this job is meeting people where they’re at, not where they think they’re supposed to be.

You don’t need perfect timing, perfect finances, or a perfect house to start the conversation.

Sometimes when you get the urge, you just have to listen! 🌄

Landrum was calling our name and I’m happy to say I sure do love this little town! My husband and I grew up just up the road from here - the town has grown since we were young, but certainly still has that small town, southern charm we were yearning for. We are so close to so many beautiful hiking and biking trails which was incredibly important for us since that’s how we like to spend our evenings/weekends. We are so thankful our daughter will get to grow up here!

Getting the itch yourself? There’s a quite a bit of new construction neighborhoods in the area that are offering deals on interest rates and closing costs, they’re hard to say no to!

Your lawyer, doctor, and mechanic are all waiting for bad news.

Your real estate agent is just trying to get you into a home you love and build some wealth along the way.

Kind of a cool job when you think about it.

Everyone keeps asking if they should wait for rates to drop.

Here’s the reality and some context:

In the 1980s, people were buying homes at 12%
In 2020, rates were around 3%
Today we’re in the mid 6% range
In 2025 the average was 6.6%

People think waiting is the “safe” move. Just hang tight until rates come down and then jump in. Sounds logical, but what usually gets missed is what happens when that plays out.

If rates drop, more buyers come back into the market. Demand picks up. Competition gets tighter. Prices tend to move up again.

So yeah, maybe you get a better rate. But you might be paying more for the home and competing against multiple offers again.

Right now the market is just different. There is less competition in a lot of areas. More room to negotiate. More inventory sitting than we have seen in a while. Geopolitical swings.

Not encouraging anyone to do anything just trying to provide some context.

I’ve been the worst about posting lately — new mama probs 😅 — so I haven’t had a chance to properly celebrate the amazing buyers I’m working with right now!

SO… that being said, CONGRATULATIONS to my incredible clients who have each found the perfect place to call home 🏡✨

I truly love working with buyers and making the process as smooth, easy, and pain-free as possible. Buying a home is such a special season, and my goal is always to keep the stress low so you can actually enjoy it 🤍

It’s been a long time coming for my client, Jake, to be able to own his own home.🏠

As a firefighter, my lender partner, Tracy Davenport and I were able to offer Jake our hero rewards program which meant not only did he not have to bring any money to the table at closing, but he actually walked away with a check!! Now that’s a win. 😊

What a blessing it was to be able to make Jake’s dream of home ownership a reality. Truly, I mean it - it continues to fill my heart to help my local heroes - if anyone deserves to own a home, it’s the folks that serve our community and put their life on the line for us. ❤️

Hey friends! 👋 If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, it’s not because I’ve gone anywhere. Real estate is still very much happening behind the scenes — contracts, closings, showings, and clients always come first. 🏡

I’ve just added my most important role to the mix… raising a baby 💕 which doesn’t leave a ton of extra time for social media.

If you need anything real estate-related, I’m always just a call or message away — even if Instagram is a little quieter these days.
