I have been seeing lots of sellers act proactively when it comes to getting their homes ready for the market… Here’s a timeline tip for you:
🔥 If you need your home to be sold by June or July, you don’t need to wait until May to get it on the market.
⏰ We are listing homes NOW that need to be sold by June.
🏡 While every home is different, our local Upstate market can sometimes be unpredictable and vary in experience from home to home and neighborhood to neighborhood.
📆 Homes typically take 30-45 days to close AFTER we’ve found a buyer. With a June 1 close date in mind, you need to be under contract by early May at the latest.
☀️If you’re eyeing summer 2026 as a target “I’m out of this home & it is no longer mine” timeframe, the time to get prepped is today.
After meeting with tons of different families this month, we are certain that planning in advance will make all the difference.
