I have to give credit where credit is due…I took my family to Fricker’s last night for dinner and I ordered my usual BIG Frickin’ Burger. This time, something seemed different…the moment the plate was set down in front of me, my wife said I looked at this burger the same way I looked at her on our first date. As I placed the bun atop the burger and slid my hand under the bottom bun and raised it to mouth level, I realized that I have never had a burger presented to me and have it look exactly like the picture advertising it.

For the first time in my life, I asked to speak with the manager so I could “compliment the chef”. I have to give huge kudos to the workers in the kitchen at the Maumee Fricker’s for assembling such a thing of beauty. The Burger Review Guy would have been praising this piece of art yesterday.

🏡 A special closing in Holland, Ohio.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to close on this home - and this one meant a little more than usual.

A few weeks ago, I helped the seller purchase her condo as she prepared for her next chapter. From there, we worked together to get her home sold…and we were able to close just 19 days later.

But what stood out most wasn’t the timeline - it was the people.

I had the chance to meet her son, who is currently serving in the United States Navy. After the closing, we talked for a bit, and he shared how much it meant to him to see his mom taken care of and able to move forward smoothly.

Moments like that are a great reminder of what this business is really about.

It’s not just homes.
It’s helping families move forward with confidence.

Grateful for the trust and the opportunity to help.

On my final day as a council member I took a long look in the mirror and didn’t like what I saw. 4 years of stress eating and drinking had taken its toll and I was officially in the worst shape of my life. My blood test results confirmed that I needed to make a change. In 2026, I am down 20lbs and put on some lean muscle. Not bad for a 42 year old.

Yesterday I had the privilege of helping a wonderful client close on this condo on Dorr Street.

One of the things she was most excited about was something many homeowners eventually start thinking about - simplifying life.

No more mowing the lawn.
No more getting the pool ready for summer.
Just more time to enjoy life.

Seeing how excited she was at the closing table was a great reminder that real estate isn’t just about properties… it’s about helping people create the lifestyle they want.
