Yeah, it was a trifle breezy last night.

Wind gust recorded in Maysville hit 114mph overnight. 114 mph winds are like a major Category 3 hurricane, or roughly a low-end EF2 tornado. From the Kentucky Mesonet.

This is a "sleep with your socks and shorts on" kind of night.

Several long lived cells have survived for a few hours across Indiana, they will likely be swept up by a line of storms as they move across the area and will be close enough to bear watching.

A lack of daytime storms means the atmosphere has not stabilized here so there is fuel available along with increasing shear to help sustain them.
