We had the opportunity to make a bathroom handicap accessible for a dear friend who had an accident & came home yesterday in a wheelchair. We removed most of the bathroom fixtures & installed a walk-in shower with a bench, a taller 19" toilet, a pedestal sink & new floor tile. The homeowners loved the work we did & asked if we could come back to make other improvements to their home!!

When I went to look at the tile job we just finished for a disabled vet today, Alphonso Lee Lopez surprised me with a plaque from the Paralyzed Veterans of America for being a sponsor of the 2025 Okie Open Bass Tournament. We love being a sponsor & love volunteering for this event at Lake Eufaula each year.

Finished laying the tile for a disabled vet today in the living room, primary bedroom with a heated floor & the walk-in closet. The goal was for the new tile to match the tile & grout in the kitchen/dining room. I think we accomplished this & the homeowner is so happy with the results!!

If you are or know of a disabled vet who is needing improvements made to their home please message me. I was able to assist a local disabled vet with applying for 2 different VA grant programs today. The VA has many grant programs to assist disabled vets with home improvements. I was blown away today when the Vietnam vet I met with offered me a copy of a book he had written regarding his experiences in Vietnam.
