We are incredibly proud of our current guests and active participants in the Thrive program at Good Samaritan Outreach for giving back to the McAlester community yesterday. As part of their journey toward independent and stable lives, these individuals stepped up to help clean and revitalize several local parks. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to extend a helping hand to the very community that supports us as we get back on our feet. A special thank you to Keep McAlester Beautiful for keeping us engaged and informed about upcoming municipal projects. Their consistent monthly initiatives keep our team active, and we look forward to a growing partnership as we work together to keep McAlester beautiful.

I'm excited to express our appreciation here at "Thrive" for the new neon light for our podcast. It feels great to have good people in your corner who support each other. I hope this neon light becomes a beacon of light for people who have lived the kind of life that we have. We want this podcast to be a safe place for people to speak about their current and former struggles and how they plan to grow out of them. Good morning, McAlester. We hope you had a good, relaxed and refreshed weekend. Although we don't know what this week holds as far as the details are concerned, we still have made our mind up not to survive the week, but to Thrive in it. We chose to make the best out of every opportunity that comes our way. Success is a decision, and it is intentional. We may not be in control of every outcome, but there is power in knowing that we have a choice in how we are going to carry ourselves through it. Releasing control and trusting the process no matter what and continuing in stride is one of the most freeing feelings ever. We accept Monday with open arms. Have a good day McAlester.

One thing we have learned to appreciate here in the Thrive Program is small changes that create lasting change and impact. Its not always about taking the next BIG step, it's about taking the next small step as serious as you would the big ones. We have dedicated ourselves to staying focused on the longterm vision of G.S.O. The most beautiful part about this is that we are the forerunners of that future vision. Every small change that we make now, will effect those that will experience this program later. So we value, thank, and understand everything that our guests have had their hand in helping us create. This work makes room for those who come in after us. We will keep this torch lit until we pass it on to the next group and create a space that is better than the space we have now.
