Even though I’ve suspended my campaign for board of directors, I am not stopping in my pursuit of information and justice on behalf ofnthe membership. As I await a recognition of my formal request for financial statements from Greater McAllen Association of REALTORS , I wanted to talk about what I found (and didn’t find) from the IRS filings that ended at 2022. As this continues to unfold I am hopeful that the truth will come out, and that these financials will have a chance to be looked at as it is our right to as members.

While this is not something you want to have to resort to (better to talk it out) I wanted to share what I have learned with others about the process. As landlords, you have to wear the hat of a businessperson when dealing with one of the most personal assets - housing - which can lead to confusion, anger, and mistakes.
