You already know what I do. This is who I am when the dust settles
WHEN THE DUST SETTLES
Most days, you’ll find me covered in dust.
Boots dirty.
Hands worn.
Clothes that smell like sawdust and diesel.
That’s a part of who I am.
But it isn’t all of me.
When the dust settles, I like to clean up. Put on something well made. Wear a good watch. Sit somewhere beautiful. Slow down for a while.
I’ve always appreciated the finer things in life—not because they make a man better, but because they remind me to appreciate the work it took to get there.
And I suppose that’s really what this is about.
I’m just a man trying his best.
I’ve made mistakes.
I’ve fallen short.
I’ve gotten lost a few times along the way.
But I’ve never been afraid to begin again.
To learn something new.
To change what needs changing.
To become better than I was before.
I don't have life figured out.
Maybe none of us do.
But I still believe there is something worth building.
A life.
A family.
A business.
A better version of yourself.
So when the dust settles, and the work is done for the day…
This is the man underneath it all.
Still learning.
Still growing.
Still building.
And still becoming.
