👋 Welcome to McCloud Realty!

We’ve had quite a few new followers lately, so we thought it was a good time to introduce ourselves and share a little about the people behind the page.

We’re Josh & Linn Tyhurst, owners of McCloud Realty, and we’re lucky to call this beautiful corner of Northern California home.

🏔️ Josh was raised right here between McCloud and Mt. Shasta, so his connection to this area goes back a lifetime.

🌲 Linn grew up in rural Humboldt County and has always felt most at home in small towns, surrounded by mountains, forests and a strong sense of community.

We made Siskiyou County our home together 10 years ago and began our real estate careers in 2017, working alongside Ray Angle at McCloud Realty. In 2019, after Josh earned his Broker’s license, we had the opportunity to purchase the business and carry on the McCloud Realty name.

Since then, our business has continued to grow. In addition to McCloud Realty, we own Jefferson State Realty, our county-wide brokerage serving buyers and sellers throughout Siskiyou County. We’re incredibly proud to have three amazing Realtors working alongside us, each bringing their own experience, personality and commitment to their clients.

McCloud Realty remains deeply rooted right here in the community we love, while Jefferson State Realty has allowed our team to expand our reach throughout the county.

But real estate is only part of who we are.

When Josh isn’t working, you’ll probably find him hiking, biking, backpacking, tackling a home renovation project or playing music.

Linn loves volunteering in our community, spending time with animals, gardening, hiking and and usually has at least one community project going at any given time.

We love living here, we love what we do, and we’re incredibly grateful that our work allows us to help people put down roots in a place that means so much to us.
