Meet Joel
Joel Koehn sells land, acreages, and homes across northeast Iowa, with a particular focus on the Driftless Area and the farms, timber, bluff country, and recreational ground that make this part of the state unique. He's based out of Fayette in Fayette County and works with buyers and sellers who want honest advice and someone who'll take the time to actually understand what a property is worth and what matters most to the people involved.
Outside of real estate, Joel has built much of his career in emergency medical services as a critical care paramedic, educator, and leader. That work has taught him how to stay level headed when it counts, communicate clearly, and give people the truth even when it's not the easiest thing to hear. Years of teaching also means he's good at taking a complicated subject and making it make sense, something he brings directly into his work with landowners, buyers, and sellers.
Joel isn't the type to just stick a sign in the yard and call it good. Whether he's helping a family figure out what a farm passed down for generations is really worth, walking a buyer through a recreational property, or breaking down the steps of a transaction, his goal is to make sure his clients understand enough to feel good about their decision.
He works farms, timber and recreational tracts, hunting ground, acreages, and residential properties across Fayette, Clayton, Winneshiek, Allamakee, Chickasaw, Howard, Bremer, Buchanan, Delaware, and Dubuque counties.
