While the lake was still below summer pool last weekend, everyone found different ways to make memories — and it was great seeing so many people supporting local businesses along the way.🙌🏼⭐️

Question for my lake friends — what was the favorite thing you did this past weekend that you probably wouldn’t have done if the lake had already been at summer pool?👇

Our stops included: The Farm at Rough River where the strawberry bread never stood a chance of making it home untouched. 🍓😂 Did some shopping at Nick's Boat Dock & The Sometimes Grill 🛍️and wrapped up one afternoon at Friends of Happy Jack’s Winery with sangria, wine slushies, and good company. 🍷

The kids turned our yard into “Recktenwald Slip N Slide Water Park.” Safe to say they made the most of every second of summer kickoff. 💦☀️

The lake is finally getting close to summer pool, and the best part of lake season is still ahead. 😊👏🏼☀️🚤
