We’re Hiring: Property Manager / Real Estate Helper / Professional Problem Solver

Hometown Realty is looking for someone to join our team and help with property management and some real estate sales tasks.

This position is perfect for someone with a real estate license who would like to keep selling homes, but also enjoys the idea of having some additional income while learning property management. Also known as the art of keeping tenants, owners, vendors, houses, toilets, HVAC units, and emotions all somewhat under control.

Some responsibilities may include:
Preparing leases
Performing property inspections
Answering tenant and owner calls
Coordinating maintenance repairs
Following up with vendors
Helping with sales-related tasks
Occasionally wondering how one small leak turned into a full-blown mystery novel...

Experience is not required, but it is a bonus. A good attitude, common sense, organization, and the ability to stay calm when someone says, “It’s been like this for three weeks, but now it’s an emergency,” are strongly preferred.

We’re looking for someone dependable, professional, willing to learn, and comfortable communicating with tenants, owners, vendors, and agents.
