BEHIND THE NAME
When the owners of B7 Properties hit the drawing board for a company name they noticed a pattern. A certain number that always seemed to show up each time they made a life leap together. It dated back to their very first days – both born on the 17th of separate months in the year 1978. Their two lives first intertwined in a fifth grade class room. I’m sure it was the 7th hour whe
n their eyes first met (wink, wink). Fast forward some years and they began dating on June 27th during their high school years. In 1997 they left their hometown of Janesville, Wi to start their independent lives (together, of course) in the “big city” of Madison. The streak continued as they welcomed their first of three children on Oct 27th. At this point they figured “hey, I think 7 might be our number”. It seemed fitting after all, it was “Lucky Number 7”, and luck is what they needed as they took a giant gamble in 2007 leaving behind ... wait for it ... seven years of corporate life (in both Engineering and Design fields) to put all their faith into not one, but two start-up businesses. After ten years of success in the home renovation and design industries they are ready for their biggest leap yet – their first B7 Property projected to sell in 2017! Oh and as for the “B”, well ... it’s just the first letter of their last name. Branding the business for the future Behm generation.
