Eight months. Countless phone calls and texts. Twenty-six homes across McHenry, Lake, and DeKalb Counties.

This week, I got to hand over the keys and say goodbye.

One of the parts of real estate that people don’t talk about is how connected you become to your clients. When you’ve talked several times a week and spent months walking through homes together, they become so much more than a transaction. 
Were 26 homes a lot? Absolutely.

Would I show 26 more if it meant finding the one? Without hesitation.

My clients were searching for their forever retirement home, and I wasn’t going to let them settle for anything less than a place they truly loved. After months of searching, we finally found it!

Watching them step into this next chapter reminds me exactly why I love what I do.

I am so incredibly grateful I had the opportunity to work with these sellers, they are truly amazing people. They worked tirelessly to get their family’s home ready for the market, and it showed in every detail. I know how much this home means to them and their family, and it was such an honor to be part of this next chapter.

Behind the scenes, there was a whole lot of strategy, problem-solving, and teamwork to bring this all together. From preparing the property to making sure every detail was dialed in, this was truly a team effort from start to finish.
