A new season of the Joan Crawford Lecture Series is here! 📚

From adventure and wellness to Garrett County’s natural and military history—and a chance to hear from Garrett College’s international students—this fall’s lineup has something for everyone.

The series kicks off Wednesday, September 30 at 6 p.m. with John Wright presenting Built for Adventure: The Science of Strength, Mobility, Recovery, and Longevity for the Adventure Athlete.

All lectures are free and open to the community. Mark your calendars and join us this fall!

This isn’t your usual Deep Creek Lake Trivia Night.

Host, Chris Nichols, will be digging into the archives for an interactive night filled with vintage photos, video questions, forgotten landmarks, legendary local businesses and stories from the lake’s past.

The evening will also mark the launch of Historic Deep Creek Lake, the upcoming book by Katelin Rank and Chris Nichols, with an opportunity to learn about and support their Kickstarter campaign.
