Some of the best food in Garrett County is served at Harvest House DCL. Just outside the Deep Creek Lake watershed is this amazing restaurant and lounge, and if you haven't been, I highly recommend it.

Recently, Railey Realty hosted our Summer Kick-Off Party here, and let me tell you: the food was absolutely phenomenal! So, how do they do it?

Well, I think one of the biggest reasons is that they have a room dedicated to growing microgreens. You can taste the difference! The fresh flavors really shine through in each dish they serve.

They're only open Thursday through Sunday, so plan accordingly! But when you do take the time to visit, I'm quite certain you'll love the atmosphere of this spot. The live music, friendly staff, and beautifully crafted dishes set this place apart.

Back in 2024, Robin called me looking for an affordable home for her daughter and granddaughter to live in here in the Oakland area.

We found the perfect home for the two at 505 Shenandoah Ave in Loch Lynn for just $120,000!

Earlier this spring, Robin called me again. She let me know that the home served its purpose and it was time to give a buyer a new chance at a rare starter home in the area.

Well, I’m happy to report that after just 4 days on the market, we were able to reach an agreement with a buyer and we closed on this home for $155K.

Congratulations to Robin, who was able to find a transitional home for her daughter and granddaughter and also successfully sell it quickly when the time came. It’s been an honor being your go-to Realtor here in Garrett County!

One of Oakland’s most iconic shopping plazas has new owners!

Congratulations to my clients, Anthony and Susanna, for the sale of their plaza. They’ve owned many successful businesses in Garrett County and give back any chance they can.

They reached out to me last year wanting to sell their commercial plaza to get some time back (their 2 young kiddos are super involved in sports and other school functions). After just a few months of marketing, we agreed to a contract in August of 2025. We went through 10 months of contract period, lots of meetings and phone calls, highs and many lows, and we were finally able to close on their property in early June.

Congratulations to the buyers on this property as well (I was also able to help them navigate this purchase). The new owner has BIG plans for this property, and I cannot wait to see all of the great things he does with it. I think our community will be very excited. 🙂
