Hello Friends!⁣
I have been a busy little bee the last several days. You see we are going to have a new little bundle of joy in our arms very soon!⁣
My oldest daughter, Macielle, & her husband, Ryan, are expecting their first little baby...a girl! 🎀⁣
Yippee! ⁣
And I get to throw my little pumpkin a baby shower covered in pink and lots of 🌸 flowers!⁣
I am hosting it here at Gasthaus on the Meadow and I can’t wait!!!⁣

Little Miss Layla Brooke is due to make her arrival early September!⁣

I can’t wait to share all the pictures & prep work with you. ⁣
But I am waiting for the big reveal as I don’t want to spoil the surprise for Macielle or her guests!⁣

Sunday is the big day! It will be a glorious Victorian Style Shower filled with flowers, pumpkins & a splash of bunnies! 🐰 ⁣
I am planning a detail blog post so I can document the entire party process!⁣

I have been pondering & in long debate with myself what I want to be called. ⁣
The traditional names of Grandmother or Grandma just won’t do...So what am I to use?⁣

Since our heritage is German my parents, my children call them Oma & Opa. We are going to call my husband Opa or Opa-pa in honor of my Dad who passed away 3.5 years ago. My mom is still with us so we wanted her to keep that name exclusively.⁣
I have been on the struggle bus with this choice for over 7 months! Anyone else been in this dilemma?⁣
Goodness gracious have I spent time googling my options! 🤓⁣

Certainly not a traditional name⁣
Not a family name⁣
Not even a traditional foreign language name⁣
We went with something unique ⁣

It’s the first week of August!⁣
Summer has begun packing her bags and will soon be on her way. ⁣
When she does finally make her departure; which of course depends on where you hang your hat, we will soon usher fall!⁣

I am not quite ready to pull out the plethora of tubs I have for our next season but I have started thinking and planning out my fall decor designs.⁣
I know the stores are ready for us! ⁣
Pumpkins, fall bundles and warm oranges and rusts are down every aisle. ⁣
I am over here hanging onto my watermelons and lemons just a little bit longer! 😎⁣

Tablescapes make me happy. I have always admired a well dressed table!⁣
It’s like a feast for the eyes before the party starts.⁣
Kinda like the overture to a grand experience that is on its way.⁣
Even if the event isn’t so grand but rather just a simple week night dinner or tuna casserole for two.😁⁣
It’s still nice to be a little fancy.⁣

It is highly favored among the rest of the shirts that hang along side it in my closet. It is very much loved and gets cheers when it gets to go out in public! ⁣

These cute boutique silverware pouches from absolutely to perfect addition to any soirée!⁣

And the fact that your silverware never needs to be naked again is brilliant!⁣
They liked to get dressed up too!!⁣
And if I can also add, their cotton laced trimmed napkins are the perfect finishing touch!⁣

Hello Friends!⁣

Happy Hot Summer Days filled with sunshine and slurpies!⁣
Well to be perfectly honest the slurpies of my childhood have been replaced with route 44 Dr. Peppers or a strawberry refreshers from Starbucks but either way I always seem to be sipping on something.⁣

It’s already been busy real estate week and I hope to be sharing pictures soon of some of the gorgeous homes my clients are considering as well as some that are under contract already. ⁣
I am excited for my clients, these homes are absolutely stunning!⁣
