Spent the day soaking in all things luxury design at IBB Design Fine Furnishings learning about the 2026 design trends from CEO & Designer, Shay Geyer.
From the Pantone Color of the Year to layered textures, statement lighting, and intentional spaces that actually feel like home… every detail was inspiring. She shared how color trends can be woven throughout a home in ways that feel timeless instead of trendy, AND NOW I’m officially looking at every room in my house differently.

But the real highlight? The behind-the-scenes warehouse tour and showroom. Imagine endless design vignettes around every corner, perfectly styled spaces, and enough inspiration to make you start mentally redecorating before you even leave the building.

Needless to say… I’m now ready to redesign my entire house. My wallet, however, would like a private meeting. 😂✨

Congratulations to Golden Tempo and his trainer, Cherie DeVaux, who made history as the first female trainer to win the Kentucky Derby 🐎! What a moment! 🌹

It’s always been my dream to attend the KY Derby 🐎 and I couldn’t let another year go by without at least “picturing myself” there! So thanks to my little AI friend, Chat, who captured the moment for me and making me skinny 😆 !

I think next year will be “MY YEAR” to attend. But for now, we celebrate today’s fabulous moments of the “Greatest 2 Minutes in Sports! “

Mahjong…Black Girl Magic Version 🀄️ ✨

Spent the afternoon stepping into something new at the launch of the local Black Girl Mahjong Too Dallas chapter and let’s just say, this isn’t just a game, it’s a whole vibe. Beautiful setting, brilliant minds, and a table full of women who came to learn, connect, and maybe win a little too.

Guided by the incomparable Arlene and the fabulous founder of the BGMJ2 Atlanta Chapter, Lynette; we laughed, learned, and leveled up our strategy. They made sure we didn’t just play—we played well.

Ya’ll, I think I’m addicted to Crak, Bams and Dots (the tiles)! 🤣 It’s got style, strategy, and just enough edge to keep things interesting.

Three days in Austin and I’m coming back sharper, inspired, and just a little nostalgic! ✨

Girls With Grit LIVE was everything I didn’t know I needed for a 2nd quarter reset. Having experienced it with 16 other women in real estate and business, each one respected, accomplished, and bringing their own uniqueness; this experience was equal parts learning, connection, and fun.

We kicked things off with a 90’s Prom Night (yes, we understood the assignment 💃🏽). Think reliving the glory days with a twist because in our version, we were hanging out with the likes of LL Cool J and Snoop Dogg. Epic!

The next two days delivered real substance. From keynote speakers and fellow Realtors sharing real-life experiences, strategies, and lessons; we walked away with content that actually hits in today’s market. No fluff, just real conversations and practical takeaways.

And I wouldn’t go all the way to ATX and not spend time with friends in the city—because business trips should always include a little life.

Refueled, Refocused, and Ready for what’s next. Let’s go, Q2 ✨
