FORECLOSURE ACTIVITY RISES ANNUALLY FOR THE ELEVENTH STRAIGHT MONTH, EXTENDING THE TREND INTO 2026

Don’t let anyone fool you, this is not some remarkable market. I’ve seen more short sale listings & foreclosures over the last six months than I have in the last 10 years.

Foreclosure starts were up 26% from a year ago, while completed foreclosures increased nearly 59%.

Texas ranked among the top states for both foreclosure starts and completed repossessions (REOs).

Foreclosure activity remained elevated across the country, but it's hitting certain states harder.
