Population: 195,308. Saaaaaalute. 🫡 Just 33 miles from , the population has 10x’d in just the past 30 years. This cute “little” town offers a charming historic square with chef-owned dining, kitschy shops, and wine tasting rooms. The community also offers all of the national brands of shopping and dining. If not already, should be on your BBQ bucket list. Be sure and try a Texas Tw***ie (made with love - according to staff - plus cream cheese, chopped brisket in a bacon-wrapped jalapeño pepper brushed with sauce). The only thing missing (according to Dave) was ice cold beer 😳🤯😫. Otherwise, don’t let the line outside the door deter you. It moves fast, and it’s worth it. Staff is freakishly friendly and the dessert (banana pudding, peach cobbler and/or soft serve ice cream) is free! 🎉 We recommend for an ice cold beer. 🍺❤️😅
