In honor of shark week, check out some of the fun facts below!

1. The Megalodon is the largest recorded shark species. Though they went extinct about 3.5 million years ago, their teeth are still found to this day!
2. The Greenland shark species holds the record for being the oldest known living vertebrate species! They can live an upwards of 500 years!
3. Whale sharks have a whopping 3000 teeth in its mouth and have a bite force that is almost 5x that of a Great White!

How often do you place a service request for one of our friendly Service Technicians to come and replace your air filter?

If your answer is anything beyond 90 days then it may be time to place a service request through your Cortland+ app!
As a friendly reminder, air filters should be changed every 60 to 90 days. Changing your air filter on a consistent basis prevents dirt and debris in your filter from obstructing air flow and increases free movement of air flow for improved indoor comfort!

Do you know how to properly care for your Granite Countertops? Check out some tips below that you might not have known.

- Clean up spills immediately to prevent stains or dark spots.
- Use a mat or a trivet under anything ceramic, like a vase or kitchen utensil holder, to keep countertops scratch-free.
- Be sure to use a cutting board whenever you’re preparing food.
- When cleaning countertops, move small appliances to clean underneath and avoid stains.

It’s time for your Monday Maintenance Tip!

Do you know the proper way to care for your Glass Cooktop? Check out some tips below to ensure your cooktop is always sparking ✨

- Clean immediately after every use once the top is cool
- Do not turn the stove back on until any residue has been removed
- Use a non-abrasive cleaner (We recommend Weiman Glass Cooktop Cleaner)
- Make a paste of baking soda and a bit of water and rub over any stubborn residue

It’s time for Maintenance Tip Monday!!

Did you know that 60w LED Light Bulbs, on average, can last for 17,500 hours?

Here at Cortland Craig Ranch, we use LED Light Bulbs that are 5000k. If you want to replace your bulbs with something brighter, we recommend finding a bulb that is over 5000k. Do not go over 60w, as this will blow fuses and cause your breaker to trip. If you want some specific recommendations, stop one of our Service Team Members and they would be happy to help 🙂
