If I had a friend in town this weekend, this is probably what we’d end up doing…
Saturday we’d start with the Embassy Tour. It’s actually such a fun way to walk around the city and try different things without overthinking it.
After that we’d grab brunch nearby. is always a good option, or if we wanted something a little nicer.
At some point we’d head into Northern Virginia for dinner. Ada’s on the River is one of those spots that always delivers, especially being right on the water.
Sunday we’d start with coffee first.
Either Open City since it’s right by the Cathedral, or Point Chaud Café & Crêpes if we wanted something a little more cozy.
Then we’d head over to Flower Mart. It’s a classic DC spring festival with flower vendors, garden booths, food stands, and just a really good atmosphere with everyone out enjoying the day.
If we were still hungry after, we’d end up at . That pizza is always worth it.
