I attended college in Oregon and developed a career as National Sales Manager with a food importer, focusing on the food service trade. After marrying, I embraced the world of the corporate ladder with my husband, Eric, moving 12 times in 18 years. I was approached by International Orientation Resources, a company out of Chicago, looking for a Destination Coordinator. From London to Dubai and Toronto to Hong-Kong, I acted as an independent consultant assisting corporate employees in moving their families and their lives to seemingly unknown places. This chapter was instrumental in developing my business plan. A mother of three, my husband and I now reside in McLean, VA. When returning back to the Northern VA area for the third time, I acted as the general contractor in building our home.
