Some clients leave a lasting impression, and these two certainly did. ❤️

When I first met them, they reminded me so much of my own parents, and I quickly developed a soft spot for them. Leaving a home you’ve lived in for 37 years isn’t easy. It’s where life happened, memories were made, and routines became traditions.

Thursday, June 11 is International Day of Play and what better way to celebrate by joining us for the grand opening of The Park at River City Sportsplex! 🎉

International Day of Play recognizes the importance of play in children's development and encourages the community to take part by engaging in recreational activities.

From 4 to 7 p.m. on June 11, have fun playing in a bubble machine, participating in a scavenger hunt and learning animal facts from Rockwood Nature Center's environmental educators.

At 5:30 p.m., Clover Hill District Supervisor Jessica Schneider will share remarks and cut the ribbon, marking the official opening of the park.

Enjoy free Kona Ice as you explore the park's splash pad, playground, trail and fitness equipment. Food and drinks will be available to purchase from vendors.

This event is free! The Park at River City Sportsplex is located at 13030 Genito Road.

Midlothian officially has a Stella’s Grocery in Winterfield Crossing and this makes my heart so happy! 😍

Stella’s Grocery has become a Richmond staple for gourmet grab-and-go meals, coffee, wine, desserts, and all the incredible Greek food — and this is already their 8th location.

The pastichio is ALWAYS in our order when we dine in at Stella’s and it never misses. I’m happy to see this in the grab and go section here. 🤌🏼

As someone who already loves Stella’s restaurant, having this right around the corner in Midlothian feels like perfection.

This is exactly the kind of local addition that makes people love living here even more.

Definitely stop by next time you’re in Winterfield Crossing!

So excited to spotlight Girls2Women-VA as our GROW Midlothian Networking Non-Profit of the Quarter and a featured organization through Front Porch Partners. 💛

Last month, Executive Director Johanna Vanarsdall spoke at our GROW Midlothian meeting and shared more about their incredible mission serving girls ages 12–18 through mentoring, leadership programs, community service, and confidence-building.

I’ve supported Girls2Women-VA in the past and wholeheartedly believe in the impact they are making in our community. 💫

From the very first showing to the one that just felt right …

We walked through many homes—different styles, different vibes—until this one completely stole their hearts. Now they’re settling into Bon Air in a classic brick rancher, full of charm and surrounded by a beautiful backyard by the lake… just in time for those perfect summer nights.

This move also meant trading in their Florida backyard visitors (a whole family of manatees 🥹) for four seasons and all the adventures that come with life around RVA. I can’t wait to hear about the places they discover and what becomes their favorite parts of Richmond.

They wrote a strong offer and came out on top in double-digit competition… and now, they’re officially home. Cheers friends! 🏡✨
