🇺🇸I’ll never forget September 11, 2001.
I was at work that morning, working with the legal department of DCS, listening to the radio as the news began to unfold. We had court that day in Cannon County.
When the first plane hit the Twin Towers, no one really understood what was happening. Then the second plane hit, and we knew—we were under attack.
We didn’t know what to do. Would court still be held? Were we still supposed to go? So we went.
When our case was called, the judge took us to the basement of the Cannon County Courthouse. There, in a tiny room that felt almost like a broom closet, court was held with the judge, the DCS attorney, myself, the defendant and the defendant’s attorney.
It was surreal.
I’ll never forget the judge saying, “In the basement of this courthouse is probably the safest place we could ever be today.”
Twenty-five years later, I can still remember the uncertainty and fear of that morning—and I will never forget the lives lost, the heroes who responded, and the families forever changed.
September 11, 2001. Never forget. 🇺🇸

Huge shout out to TechHelp Solutions and Data LLC ! They went beyond any expectations to get my data transferred from the old phone to my new one. I've been in a state of panic for three days. Y'all know Realtors live on our phones. So, if you need any tech work, computer repair, network security, phone work, go see them!! Seriously, they saved my business.
